Siracusa, Sicily had a distinctive Greek feeling to it because of all the marble and the ruins , yet the delicious cannoli reminded us that we were still in Italy . It’s a popular place but didn’t feel overly Touristy , and in the evenings we could wander through the pedestrian streets without feeling crowded . But no matter where we went , the Mediterranean Sea was always nearby.
